Gazda Kontroll Ltd is a Hungarian agricultural consultancy and innovation management company supporting more than 300 farms across Hungary in improving the sustainability, resilience, and profitability of their production systems. Our work combines practice-oriented advisory expertise with strong administrative capacity, innovation management, and multi-actor collaboration.
Established as a practice-focused advisory organisation, we provide comprehensive support ranging from CAP administration and compliance to nutrient management planning, crop rotation design, and farm-level optimisation. Building on this foundation, our activities increasingly focus on innovation management, the organisation of on-farm demonstrations, and the development of climate-adaptive and soil-focused farming solutions.
A key element of our work is the close integration of practice, research, and advisory systems. Through collaboration with open-minded and innovative farms across Hungary, we support on-farm demonstrations, pilot actions, and knowledge exchange activities, enabling the testing and validation of innovative approaches under real farming conditions. These activities are supported by access to parcel-, farm-, and region-level agronomic, environmental, and economic data.
Gazda Kontroll has extensive experience in national and EU-funded projects, including Horizon Europe, EIP-AGRI Operational Groups, AEDIH, and Erasmus+ initiatives. In these projects, we contribute innovation management, multi-actor facilitation, demonstration coordination, and communication, dissemination, and exploitation activities, ensuring that project results are relevant, applicable, and scalable beyond the project lifetime.
Across all our activities, we combine research-based insights, farmer experience, and practical implementation to co-create solutions tailored to local conditions and aligned with European sustainability and innovation objectives.
Strategic cooperation with the Hungarian Soybean and Protein Crop Association
Gazda Kontroll works in close strategic cooperation with the Hungarian Soybean and Protein Crop Association (MSZFE), where members of our management team hold board-level roles. This long-standing collaboration provides direct access to a nationwide network of protein crop producers, processors, advisors, and researchers, and supports strong links across the value chain. Through MSZFE, we coordinate and contribute to large-scale on-farm demonstrations, field events, and knowledge exchange activities, strengthening our capacity for farmer engagement, dissemination, and multi-actor collaboration within national and EU-funded projects.
Our contribution to EU-funded research and innovation projects includes:
